The House of Representatives on Tuesday approved the N1.78 trillion Federal Capital Territory (FCT) 2025 budget for second reading. House Leader Hon. Julius Ihonvbere sponsored the Appropriation Bill, and Minority Leader Hon. Kingsley Chinda seconded the motion during plenary. The proposed budget allocates N150.35 billion for personnel costs and N343.77 billion for overhead. Lawmakers assigned the remaining N1.28 trillion to capital projects.
