Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State have publicly endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for another term in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced during a key party gathering at the residence of former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, in the Ogboagbene community. At the meeting, Orubebe was unanimously selected as the national leader of the Ijaw APC in Delta State.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Orubebe highlighted the rare sense of unity within the party, describing it as a milestone in his political career. “Today is one of my happiest days,” he stated. “In the past, I used to focus on outmaneuvering the opposition during elections. But now, we’re all united under one banner in the APC—no distinctions between old and new members. We must remain committed to the leadership of the President, the Governor, and the Council Chairman.”
Orubebe further emphasized that this convergence of political figures from diverse backgrounds reflects a positive shift toward greater cohesion and advancement in the region’s politics.
