Tinubu Supporters Urges Nigerians to be Patient with FG ahead of 2027 Election

As Nigeria moves closer to the 2027 election, a pro-Tinubu group has stepped up its efforts. The Door to Door Movement pledged to mobilize grassroots support for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign. They also vowed to defend the administration’s policies and developmental programs across the country.

The group’s Director General, Blessing Agbomhere, released a statement on Thursday in Abuja. He reaffirmed their strong commitment to supporting government agencies. They aim to help communicate Tinubu’s achievements and vision to Nigerians. Their focus remains on reaching citizens, especially those at the grassroots level.

Agbomhere also serves as the South-South Organizing Secretary of the APC. He urged Nigerians to remain patient with current economic policies. He asked them to give the government time to deliver results. He dismissed claims by opposition parties about government indifference. According to him, the Tinubu administration understands and cares about citizens’ economic struggles.

President Tinubu and his team are working tirelessly to rescue Nigeria from years of economic decline. Unlike the selfish opposition elements who are more interested in seizing power than offering solutions, this government is implementing bold reforms to reposition the economy,” Agbomhere stated.

He cited the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, which he said is being driven by competent and experienced economic managers at both the federal and state levels. According to him, the aim is to ensure that the dividends of democracy reach even the most remote parts of the country.

Using a metaphor of growth and resilience, Agbomhere said:

“Just like a seed must die before it sprouts, the temporary pain we are going through is part of the process to produce a harvest of economic prosperity and national development.”

He highlighted the government’s ongoing policy reforms. He pointed to fuel subsidy removal and exchange rate unification as key examples. He also mentioned the federal government’s current push for infrastructure development. He admitted these decisions may seem unpopular in the short term. However, he insisted they aim to revive Nigeria’s economy over time.

Agbomhere also took a swipe at critics of the administration, accusing them of intentionally inciting discontent among citizens.

These enemies of progress are not offering constructive alternatives. They are merely fanning the flames of dissatisfaction for political gain. Let it be known that the Door to Door Movement will soon begin to expose such individuals and their ulterior motives,” he warned.

The statement concludes with a strong call for unity and support for the Tinubu administration as it undertakes what the group describes as “a difficult but necessary journey toward national renewal.”
