Beware of Fake NAF Recruitment Advert Circulating on Social Media

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) says it has become aware of a fraudulent recruitment advert circulating on various social media platforms, targeting unsuspecting members of the public with the aim of defrauding them.

The Air Force through it spokesman Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet categorically stated that it is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise.

Gabkwet said It is essential to note that the NAF recently graduated recruits of Basic Military Training Course 43/2022 on 8 July 2023. As such, the public will be duly informed whenever a recruitment process commences.

The NAF vehemently emphasizes that its recruitment and selection process is entirely free, devoid of any form of gratification. Any individual who is asked to make payments under any pretext should exercise caution as such actions are undertaken at their own risk. It is crucial to reiterate that the NAF does not employ the services of recruitment agents; therefore, anyone claiming to represent the NAF in such a capacity is undoubtedly a fraudster.

Prospective applicants are strongly advised to promptly report any individuals soliciting payments to the nearest NAF Unit or The Nigeria Police Force. Your vigilance can help protect others from falling victim to these deceitful schemes. Stay alert and be wary of suspicious recruitment advertisements on social media.
