The Chief of Army Staff Has Presented cheques to the first 10 beneficiaries of NA Personal Insurance Scheme in an effort to provide financial security and support to families of personnel, who died in active service.

The Presentation was part of activities which marked the closing ceremony of the COAS second and third quarter conference held in Abuja

The Army Chief expressed his gratitude to the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria for his support in rejuvenating the Nigerian Army for enhanced operational efficiency.

Lieutenant General Lagbaja also reaffirmed the unswerving loyalty of the officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army to the Federal Government and the Constitution of Nigeria, just as he emphasized the Nigerian Army’s commitment to setting a commendable example for other military forces.

the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) also emphasized the commitment and capabilities of Nigerian Army (NA) officers and soldiers in maintaining a safe and secure environment, which is essential for good governance and socio-economic development.

He stressed the importance of collaboration with sister services and other security agencies in achieving this goal.

The COAS noted that the briefings and presentations during the conference had reinforced the tasks and highlighted the challenges facing the NA.

He called on all formation commanders to optimize their capabilities to decisively address the nation’s adversaries. Furthermore, he stated that the significant decisions made during the conference would guide the NA in redefining its training and operational strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
