In his unwavering pursuit of enhanced security management in Nigeria through global engagement, Acting Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun is currently in Shanghai, China, en route to Lianyungang. He is taking part in the esteemed 2023 Global Public Security Cooperation Forum, Lianyungang (GPSCFL). This prestigious gathering convenes international security experts and stakeholders for substantive discussions on global security challenges and developmental strategies.
The Forum, serving as a conduit for international collaboration and addressing security concerns transcending national borders, is a vital platform for advancing cooperative strategies and initiatives aimed at fostering peace, security, and sustainable development in our increasingly interconnected world.

Alongside his involvement in the global forum, the IGP held bilateral discussions with Mr. Yuan Qinhua, Vice Governor and Director of Public Security of Jiangxi province, China. Their meeting centered on the exploration of avenues for bolstering cooperation between China and Nigeria in areas such as security training, information exchange, and policing development. This marks a significant stride toward strengthening international partnerships and advancing shared objectives of peace and prosperity.
