The Action Democratic Party (ADP) has reaffirmed its commitment to creating a favorable environment that will support the sustainable development and transformation of Kogi state if elected into power in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
This was disclosed in Abuja by the National Chairman of the party, Yabagi Sani, during the presentation of the certificate of return to Julius Elukpo, the ADP gubernatorial candidate for the Kogi State Governorship election holding in November this year.
Sani described the ADP governorship candidate as a distinguished Nigerian who possesses the knowledge and willingness to re-engineer the natural and human resources of Kogi state.
He further added that the leadership of the state should not be left in the hands of incapable leaders, and called on party members and stakeholders to adopt the candidate and work tirelessly to promote his achievements and secure a victory over candidates from other parties.
Julius Elukpo, the ADP gubernatorial candidate for Kogi state, expressed his disappointment that despite the abundance of human and material resources in the state, it has remained underdeveloped. He stated that he has offered himself as a candidate to lead the crusade for change and to transform the state’s narrative of unprepared leadership.
Elukpo emphasized that his experience in the private and public sectors, coupled with his impeccable character and competence, make him the ideal candidate to transform the state. He urged the people of Kogi state to vote for him in the upcoming election to bring about the much-needed transformation and development of the state.
