Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere was born in 1982 in Akokwa, Ideato North Local Government Area, a dynamic and passionate individual who has dedicated his youthful years to activism, tirelessly working for the betterment of humanity.

During his educational journey, Ugochinyere attended Model Primary School and Roselec Int’l Primary School, both located in Akokwa. For his secondary education, he first enrolled in Bonus Pastor Seminary in Osina for junior secondary, and subsequently, he pursued his senior secondary education at St. May’s Seminary in Umuowa. where he achieved outstanding grades in the Senior School Certificate Examination. Continuing his academic pursuit, Ikenga proceeded to Imo State University, where he obtained a degree in Law.

Deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, he maintains a strong connection with his Chi (personal guardian spirit). He has consistently demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for social services, rendering invaluable contributions in various capacities, including:

  1. Serving as the Special Assistant on Youth Affairs to the former Governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim.
  2. Acting as the Former Special Adviser on Student Matters to the former Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
  3. Holding the position of Former President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, where he achieved a landslide victory as the first Igbo man to occupy such a prestigious office.
  4. Serving as the Former Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students.
  5. Being the Former National Chairman of the Action Peoples Party.
  6. Functioning as the National Spokesman for the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP).
  • Ikenga Ugochinyere played a significant role as the founder and inaugural National Director of the PDP Youth Movement during the chairmanship of Ahmadu Ali, with Ojo Maduekwu as the Secretary. In each of these positions, Ugochinyere stood alongside the people, emerging as a prominent voice against oppressive forces in the country.
  • He also holds the distinction of being a founding member of the International Youth Council in New York. This organization was established when he led the Nigerian youth delegates to an international youth council meeting in New York in 2007.
  • He was appointed as a member of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, where he served as the Head of PDP Youth Mobilization, contributing to the successful election of the late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua. During his tenure, he worked under the leadership of Chief Bode George, who served as the Director-General of the council.
  • Ikenga’s political experience and exposure have made him a notable figure, driven by patriotic zeal and possessing a strong mass appeal. He has consistently supported community development projects, providing assistance in various forms such as covering hospital bills, school fees, rent payments, and more. Additionally, he has made significant investments in empowering rural farmers, supporting youths, and aiding indigent women on an annual basis. Remarkably, he has facilitated the employment of numerous youths in prestigious government agencies like Customs, CBN, and top private oil firms, all without holding any official government position.
  • Today, Ikenga stands as a constitutional lawyer who has emerged victorious in numerous legal and political battles, leaving a lasting impact on electoral laws and constitutional democracy. He has led strategic legal and political battles that have played a crucial role in preserving the essence of the PDP, earning him the nickname “Soldier of the Party” from party leadership. As an unwavering political activist, he has faced persecution and endured multiple detentions in underground cells, refusing to relent in his fight for a just society.
  • Additionally, he  is a sought-after Media Consultant and Strategy Adviser, catering to high-end clients in business, politics, and various other sectors. He is the founder and principal Counsel of Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere Chambers, a Legal Consultancy and Strategy law firm based in Abuja. The firm provides consultation services to industry leaders in oil and gas, banking and finance, as well as prominent government figures in Nigeria and across West Africa.
  • Ikenga Imo holds influential positions in prominent companies specializing in property, luxury goods and services. He is a billionaire property magnate, primarily dealing with luxury properties such as apartments, developments, and rentals across Nigeria and West Africa.
  • As the son of a teacher and a dedicated advocate of justice and good governance, Ugochinyere has consistently exemplified the qualities of true leadership. He has taken the reins, guiding those under his leadership away from a turbulent history and towards a path of prosperity and abundance.
