The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Socio-Cultural Association has lauded President Bola Tinubu for his visionary leadership in establishing the new Ministry of Livestock Development.

“This strategic move underscores the administration’s firm commitment to addressing the persistent challenges within Nigeria’s agricultural sector, particularly the conflicts between farmers and herders.

This historic decision comes at a critical juncture as the nation grapples with recurring conflicts that have devastated communities, stifled economic progress, and threatened national unity. The creation of this dedicated ministry, alongside the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Livestock Reform Implementation Committee, demonstrates the Tinubu administration’s unwavering dedication to resolving this complex issue comprehensively and sustainably”.

“We applaud President Tinubu’s decisive leadership and steadfast resolve to bridge divides, promote inclusivity, and champion the cause of justice and prosperity for all Nigerians,” The establishment of the Ministry of Livestock Development, under the capable guidance of the Renewed Hope Livestock Reform Implementation Committee, is a bold and necessary step towards fostering long-term peace, strengthening food security, and unlocking the immense economic potential of the livestock sector.”

The association highlighted the contributions of key figures in this initiative. Hajiya Hadiza Bala Usman, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Policy Implementation, was particularly praised for her transformative initiatives and deep understanding of the issue’s complexities. “Her involvement instils confidence that the Renewed Hope Livestock Reform will be executed with utmost rigor, transparency, and commitment to the well-being of all stakeholders,” Alhassan added.

“Additionally, the role of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, was acknowledged for providing strategic vision and support essential for the reform’s successful implementation. “The NSA’s unwavering dedication to safeguarding the nation’s security and stability is a testament to his commitment to the betterment of all Nigerians,”

“Miyetti Allah also extended its appreciation to other stakeholders, including His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the APC National Chairman and former Governor of Kano State, and His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, the Minister for Budget and Economic Planning. Their contributions, along with those of Prof. Attahiru Jega, the former INEC Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Renewed Hope Livestock Reform Implementation Committee, were commended for their strategic vision and support.”
