Abuja, Nigeria — The Navy Holdings Limited (NHL) has issued a warning to the general public regarding a viral video circulating on social media platforms in which fraudsters are allegedly attempting to deceive Nigerians into purchasing properties at Lake View Estate, Navy Town Asokoro through unauthorized agents.
In a statement released by the company, NHL firmly denied engaging the services of any third-party agents to facilitate the sale of its land or properties. The organization emphasized that it deals directly with subscribers and has not appointed any individual or agent to act on its behalf in any property transactions.
“The Navy Holdings Limited is the sole owner of Navy lands and does not operate through intermediaries. Members of the public are advised to beware of impostors and avoid dealing with any person claiming to represent us in any property sale,” the statement read.
NHL also assured that efforts are underway to identify and bring to justice the individuals behind the attempted fraud. The organization advised anyone interested in acquiring its properties to visit the official NHL office located on Aso Clinic Road, Asokoro, directly adjacent to the Army War College Nigeria.
The public is urged to disregard false claims and report any suspicious activity related to Navy properties to the appropriate authorities.
The statement was signed by Commander Abdulsalam Sani, Public Relations Officer, on behalf of the Group Managing Director/CEO of Navy Holdings Limited.
