The President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero has called for probe into the subsidy regime as he alleged huge corruption in the matter.
Joe Ajaero made the call while addressing journalists before the commencement of an emergency NLC National Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Friday.
He described the removal of subsidy by President Bola Tinubu as unilateral decision, saying such decision is an ambush and runs against the spirit and principles of Social Dialogue.
He maintained that the Congress will not succumb to propaganda and blackmail, as its determined to interrogate subsidy process as to unravel those collecting the money and how much that have been expended.
