Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, has addressed the issue of the president’s ministerial list, stating that it is not yet ready. Alake made this announcement during a briefing with journalists at the State House in Abuja.

Amid speculations and rumors surrounding the awaited ministerial list, Alake urged Nigerians to disregard such claims and await an official announcement from the appropriate channels. He emphasized that the list is still in the process of being finalized and that the presidency will release it in due course.

President Tinubu, who was inaugurated as the president on May 29, 2023, is expected to submit his ministerial list to the Senate before the 29th of July. As the deadline approaches, the president’s team is working diligently to ensure the selection of qualified individuals who will form the cabinet.

In other news, Thursday was a busy day for President Tinubu, as he signed four Executive Orders deferring and suspending the commencement of certain taxes paid by companies in Nigeria. These orders are part of the president’s efforts to create a favorable business environment and stimulate economic growth in the country.
