President Tinubu Condoles Senator Smart Adeyemi on Passing of Mother, Princess Victoria Adeyemi
ABUJA, Nigeria – President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to Senator Smart Adeyemi following the passing of his beloved mother, Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi (née Ibilola).
In a statement released by his media office, President Tinubu paid tribute to the late matriarch and community leader, recalling her fondly for her benevolence, humility, and peaceful disposition. He noted that these qualities earned her the affection and respect of all who came in contact with her throughout her lifetime.
The President acknowledged the significant impact Princess Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi left behind, particularly in the Iyara community of Kogi State. He also highlighted her enduring influence among her numerous associates in Niger State, where she resided for an extensive period of 45 years, raising her six children before later relocating to Abuja.
President Tinubu expressed his trust that the Adeyemi family and all those mourning Mama Victoria Oyeyemi Adeyemi will find comfort and strength in the remembrance of her exemplary life of service and remarkable strength of character.
He concluded by praying for the peaceful repose of her soul and asking Almighty God to grant comfort to the bereaved family and friends, as well as the fortitude needed to bear this profound and irreparable loss.
