President Bola Tinubu has restated his confidence in his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, during his address at the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting. Emphasizing his commitment to taking responsibility for his decisions, President Tinubu affirmed his absolute confidence in his choice of appointing Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff.
Demonstrating unwavering resolve, President Tinubu issued a stern warning that unauthorized individuals should not be present in the council chambers. He made it clear that granting unauthorized access to the chambers is unacceptable. Following this statement, the council proceeded to a closed-door session to address the nation’s business for the day.
Before entering the closed-door session, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, lauded President Tinubu for his victory at the Supreme Court, where he was confirmed as the 16th President of Nigeria. Akume also praised the President’s commitment to revitalizing the nation’s economy through a renewed eight-point agenda.
It’s worth noting that, under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria recently secured a significant victory in the contentious $11 billion arbitration case against Process and Industrial Development (P&ID) in London.
