President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a directive to the ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, urging them to take immediate action to address the challenges faced by Nigerians. The President emphasized the need to boost the economy, tap into the potential of the nation’s youth, ensure food security, and advance healthcare services in order to alleviate the hardships faced by the citizens.

This directive was delivered during the inaugural council meeting, where President Tinubu outlined his strategic plan for the country’s economic progress. He called upon the new federal executive council to formulate specific development goals aligned with the eight key priority areas of his administration’s renewed agenda.

The council also thoroughly examined the President’s comprehensive eight-point agenda, which covers critical aspects such as national security, economy, agriculture, energy, transportation, education, healthcare, digital economy, women’s empowerment, and judicial reform, among other important sectors.

Following the meeting, the ministers, led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, collectively assured the public of their commitment to President Tinubu’s vision. They expressed their inspiration by the President’s approach and conveyed their confidence that the government’s positive impact would soon become evident throughout the entire nation.

Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Folashade Yemi-Esan, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, among others.
