Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, and Yahaya Bello of Kogi State paid a visit to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa to extend their congratulations to President Bola Tinubu on his well-deserved victory at the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court’s verdict, delivered in favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Tinubu in Abuja, was warmly received.
The governors commended the dedicated efforts of APC members throughout Nigeria and President Bola Tinubu in securing the victory in the presidential election held on February 25th. They emphasized that the Supreme Court’s decision, in favor of the President, is not only comforting but also a reaffirmation of the will of over eight million Nigerians who cast their votes for the APC and President Bola Tinubu as their preferred choice.
While congratulating the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their commendable work, they called upon the opposition to support the government’s “Renewed Hope” agenda to contribute to Nigeria’s continued success.
The delegation of governors, led by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje, also included Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, and other dignitaries.
