Sen. Diket proposed the establishment of military bases at identified flashpoints across the state to deter bandits and enhance the overall security infrastructure. He highlighted the need to secure entry points used by criminals in various areas, including Barkin Ladi, Bokkos, Mangu, Gindiri, and Bauchi.
Having presented a motion in the national assembly, Sen. Diket outlined the resolution to prioritize a long-term solution to insecurity, emphasizing the importance of securing all vulnerable points to prevent criminals from entering and escaping with ease.
