In an unfortunate incident today, December 1, 2023, a Nigerian Air Force (NAF) MI-35P helicopter crashed in Port Harcourt at approximately 7:45 am. Director Public Relations and Information Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet revealed this in a statement issued to Defence Correspondents. He said the mishap occurred shortly after the aircraft took off for an operation targeting economic saboteurs in Rivers State.
