President Bola Tinubu has taken the helm of his inaugural session with the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

Commencing around noon in the Council Chamber of the State House, Abuja, this marks the first FEC meeting under President Tinubu’s administration. The gathering began with the rendition of the National Anthem.

In a succinct opening statement, the President emphasized the importance of ministerial performance, affirming that his cabinet’s dedication to the welfare of Nigerians must be unwavering.

Present at the assembly were the Vice President, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, National Security Adviser, Chief of Staff to the President, and all appointed ministers.

It’s worth noting that following the Senate’s confirmation of the 45 Ministers, they were officially sworn in by the President on August 21, 2023. Subsequently, the ministers have been acquainting themselves with their respective portfolios in preparation for today’s FEC gathering.
