In a statement issued on Saturday by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Ejeagha for using his music and unique storytelling to preserve and promote Igbo culture and traditions, inspiring countless Nigerians across generations.

“May the spirit and values of Gentleman Mike Ejeagha’s music continue to remind us that music has the power to revive, heal, and channel energy into causes that help build our nation,” President Tinubu said.

He also commended Governor Peter Mbah and the Enugu State Government for honouring the music legend during his lifetime.

President Tinubu prayed for God to grant Ejeagha’s soul eternal rest and to comfort everyone grieving his loss.
