President Bola-Ahmed Tinubu on Monday urged security and intelligence agencies in the nation to prioritize the sharing of information and intelligence among themselves, emphasizing that withholding such resources could impede the fight against terrorism.
After touring the recently constructed Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA) and the state-of-the-art facilities at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Abuja, the President commended the efforts made in countering terrorism and acknowledged the significance of supporting these efforts with knowledge.

President Tinubu emphasized that his administration acknowledges the paramount importance of security in achieving economic revival, prosperity, and development.
The President regarded the visit to the new ONSA building as highly significant and expressed his willingness to provide any necessary support to the nation’s security architecture.
Major-General Babagana Monguno (Rtd), the National Security Adviser (NSA), expressed gratitude to the President for selecting the visit as his first engagement outside the Villa. He remarked that it exemplifies Tinubu’s unwavering commitment and dedication to overcoming the security challenges faced by Nigeria and the sub-region in the shortest possible time.
Monguno pledged ONSA’s wholehearted commitment and dedication to ensuring that President Tinubu fulfills the security promises made to the Nigerian people.
