Wike Begins Plans to Relocate Apo Mechanic Village Traders

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has announced plans to relocate traders at the Apo Mechanic Village without delay. Speaking during the commissioning of the newly completed Apo-Wasa Road, Wike pledged to personally lead the committee responsible for overseeing the relocation process.

He cautioned the traders against falling for false promises from individuals seeking to exploit them.

Addressing the crowd, Wike criticized some residents for trusting people who had failed to deliver in the past. He pointed out that while others only made empty promises, he had fulfilled his commitment to construct the road and would also ensure the traders are relocated.

Wike also dismissed the credibility of some political coalitions, questioning their stability and leadership. He urged the residents to recognize his efforts and reminded them of their earlier promise to support him in return.

“When the time comes,” he said, “I will return and ask you to fulfill your promise, just as I have kept mine.”
